Transforming the Future of Protein Supply – A Legacy of Innovation
Tebrito was established to address the pressing need for sustainable food solutions for a growing global population. By harnessing the potential of insects, we developed efficient methods for producing high-quality proteins and oils using circular and resource-efficient processes.
Among Tebrito’s achievements was the development of Frodas®, an innovative frass-based product with applications in agriculture and horticulture. Frodas® demonstrated how by-products from insect farming could contribute to regenerative farming practices, improving soil health and productivity. We are proud to announce that Frodas® will be relaunched and further developed through Hasta Eco ensuring its continued contribution to sustainable farming.
Additionally, Tebrito pioneered a unique protein ingredient derived from mealworms – 88% pure, neutral in taste, white in color, and offering excellent functional properties – showcasing the immense potential of insect-based solutions for the food and feed industries.
