At Fox Chase Cancer Center’s Office of Academic Affairs, our mission is to cultivate the next generation of cancer researchers and science enthusiasts. Through a comprehensive approach that includes education, experiential learning, networking, and career exploration, we strive to provide our trainees with the essential tools to become leaders in the scientific community. Our focus extends from high school students to postdoctoral fellows, emphasizing the importance of professional development in areas such as leadership, communication, networking, and teaching.

We are dedicated to enhancing fundamental skills necessary for a successful scientific career. Our initiatives, such as the Empower program and the Teen Research Internship Program, offer unique, hands-on research experiences for undergraduates and high school students, respectively. These programs are designed to foster scientific curiosity and innovation. Additionally, our active collaborations with local high schools, museums, and academic institutions enrich the training opportunities for our graduate students and fellows. These partnerships allow us to broaden our outreach into the community, promoting a passion for science at all educational levels.
