VCPEIT, founded in 2001, is a peer support and networking group comprised of IT executives from venture capital, private equity, and other alternative asset firms. The group consists of members around the world including but not limited to Boston, Philadelphia, New York, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, Chicago, Minneapolis, Canada, UK and other parts of Europe. A majority of the group members meet at the annual conference, more localized regional meetings take place within local chapters on a regular basis, including collaborative workshops and networking events. The group consists of approx. 200 members representing 150 global firms.
