The story of LinkedIn Local began in 2017 when the Australian founder wrote a post using the #LinkedInLocal hashtag, asking who was available for a cup of coffee among her connections on LinkedIn. To her surprise, it became a craze! What used to be a simple hashtag has now become a global event in more than 150 countries around the world. In Switzerland, the first LinkedIn Local was created in Lausanne. We are the ambassadors for Geneva, Nyon and more broadly La Cote. Every first Wednesday of the month from October 2018, we invite you to come and meet us to discover people beyond their LinkedIn profiles and cherish our values. As LinkedIn is the social business network par excellence, LinkedIn Local is created to meet people beyond their titles.
