Global Physicians Solutions, LLC (GPS), was founded in 2012, with the purpose of providing medical services to underserved hospitals, and over-tasked facilities. Through the use of telemedicine technology, licensed physicians work remotely to provide top-of-the-line treatment to patients, while still keeping hospital operation costs low. Technologically proven and cleared by the FDA, telemedicine employs the use of a robot, equipped with a portable video camera and monitor, to allow physicians to see and speak to patients, and on-location nurses. This technology makes it possible for hospitals to admit more complicated patients, and transfer fewer, knowing that a board certified specialist will be remotely present to provide necessary care.
