The Robotics and Rehabilitation Interest Group (RoRIG) is an international not for profit association composed of clinicians, researchers, engineers and experts in economic planning, which aims to stimulate interest and encourage dialogue between the various parties involved in the use of robotic equipment in rehabilitation medicine.
The purpose of the Association is to:
Promote interest in the use of robotic devices in rehabilitation
Promote and coordinate research in robotics applied to rehabilitation medicine;
Promote and coordinate research and study activities by national interest groups;
Promote and disseminate knowledge on the use of robotic equipment;
Foster relations among science, health/rehabilitation institutions and manufacturers’ organisations;
Coordinate and promote training activities.
