At the UKRI Centres in Artificial Intelligence for Healthcare (AI4Health) we offer innovative PhD training in AI developed for and/or applied to Healthcare.

Launched in 2019, our UKRI AI for Healthcare Centres host a large interdisciplinary AI research programme and will have trained over 200 PhD researchers by 2032; we bring together a vast network of over 120 research labs, three NHS Hospital Trusts and as partners both UK medical regulators as well as over 40 industry partners and start-ups.

Based at the Department of Computing in Imperial College London, we work closely with NHS trusts, patient-focused charities, industry partners and regulators to ensure that PhD students can realise the full potential during their research.

Our PhD training programme is split into unique phases that provide cutting-edge skills and research training and drive PhD impact.
