Health Venture Lab (HVL) is an international healthcare-focused accelerator providing healthcare teams with a specialised, results-oriented path to validate and commercialise their Minimum Viable Products. HVL was established in 2017 as a joint venture between GE Healthcare and EIT Health.

HVL provides support for entrepreneurs and start-ups from the early stages to scaling up via the following programs:

- Young Talent Programs (High Schoolers)

- Catalyst Europe Program (Researchers)

- Reactor, AI & Big Data (MVP Stage start-ups)

- Boston Deepdive (Growth stage start-ups)

Given the specificity of HVL’s composition, its programs encompass the commercial prowess of healthcare corporations, the business know-how of Europe’s leading universities, and the testing capabilities of teaching hospitals. Such comprehensive support has proven to radically increase the chances of market success for the teams operating in the health-tech and med-tech sectors. Over the last 4 years, HVL has worked with 96+ European start-ups, engaged 50+ mentors and experts for their programs, and represented 20+ countries.

HVL offers part of its services as economic activities on the market, but it operates on a non-profit basis.
