At OptionV Energy, we're transforming industrial waste into critical materials for a cleaner, more resilient energy future.



Our patented, bio-inspired extraction technology recovers high-purity vanadium from overlooked secondary sources like steel slag, refinery residues, and oil fly ash, unlocking domestic supply while reducing emissions by up to 60% compared to traditional extraction methods. We’re targeting production of high-purity vanadium pentoxide for existing specialty steels and alloys while aiming to support the growing demand for grid-scale energy storage, especially through vanadium redox flow batteries (VRFBs), which offer unmatched durability, safety, and sustainability.



With extraction yields up to 97% in the lab and early validation partners across the U.S., we’re building a scalable solution to power the energy transition from grid operators to defense to data centers and are interested in bringing on more early partners.
