CYSMET will introduce a novel Maritime Supply Chain Risk Assessment (CYSMET) methodology to risk management in the ports supply chain environment, which will alleviate the limitations of existing risk management methodologies and related regulations (e.g., ISPS, ISOS27001, ISO27005) in terms of handling cyber-security risks and threats and their impact on maritime supply chains. Particular emphasis will be paid on the estimation of the cascading effects, as well as on the prediction of future risks and attacks scenarios (based upon common metrics across sectors). The CYSMET approach will be tailored to the requirements of dynamic supply chains. It will comprise standards-based models for risks and security processes in international supply chains (notably ISO28000). The CYSMET methodology will be implemented in easy-to-use system, which will implement the main functionalities of the framework (including risk identification, classification, assessment, simulation, mitigation and visualization). The implementation of the system and the accompanying services will be based on leading edge ICT technologies, including crowd sourcing, machine learning and Artificial Intelligence techniques. The propose system will provide a user-friendly view of ports supply chain environment, thereby facilitating all relevant stakeholders (port security operators, port facility operators) in carrying out complex cyber-security management task. This project has received funding from the Partnership Agreement for the Development Framework 2014-2020, Operational program “Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship & Innovation” (EPAnEK), with project number: T2EΔΚ – 03488.
