Alelion Energy Systems is an energy storage and control company that offers high-performance batteries for optimized products. Alelion's main business is to define, develop, and deliver tailor-made batteries and power electronics to all kinds of demanding products that benefit from the new battery technology. Today, Alelion focuses on Lithium Ion cells that are viewed to be the best on the market with an exceptional number of cycles and safe behavior. Alelion and its partners take full responsibility for the whole battery subsystem so its customers can focus on their products and applications instead. Alelion Batteries was founded in 2006 and is a spin-out from ETC Batteries and Fuelcells, a R&D company for advanced energy solutions. The company is based in the Nödinge, north of Gothenburg, the heart of battery manufacturing and research in Sweden. We have 1600 m2 production area and our own development resources. The employees are highly educated and have long industrial experience in electronics, software, mechanical and test development. Many of the staff both in production and development have an automotive background and are used to work in efficient organizations. In 2007 private investors bought Alelion Batteries AB and the journey began. The company is currently owned by a set of smaller private companies, Sammaj AB, Pegroco Invest AB and Fouriertransform AB. The Company name was changed in may 2016 to Alelion Energy Systems AB.
