Established in November 2019 as a spin-off from the University of Cassino and South Lazio, E-Lectra is a beacon of innovation within the FAIST Group's "Electronics" Business Units. Located in Cassino, Italy, E-Lectra serves as both the headquarters and the operational core, where the fusion of creativity and technology takes center stage in state-of-the-art laboratories. These facilities are equipped with advanced Hardware in the Loop platforms, controlled power supplies, and comprehensive test benches, all designed to spearhead developments in SiC and GaN applications for power conversion.

E-Lectra leverages additional resources from the University of Cassino and South Lazio, such as an anechoic chamber for EMC compliance testing and labs tailored for industrial electronics and automation. The proximity to these resources enhances E-Lectra's capability in refining power conversion technologies further.

The team at E-Lectra is led by Professor Giuseppe Tomasso, whose expertise in electrical engineering and power systems significantly enriches the company's research and development efforts. While Professor Tomasso brings a wealth of knowledge in the field, the focus at E-Lectra is firmly on advancing SiC and GaN technologies to transform power conversion processes, pushing beyond conventional boundaries to achieve superior efficiency and performance.
