NantG Power is developing a radical new approach to design and manufacture batteries with improved performance, price, and environmental stewardship.

Unlike incumbent lithium-ion batteries that are currently limited to 750 Wh/L and charging times of 15 minutes or longer, our batteries are poised to reach 2X improvement in performance, i.e. energy densities of greater than 1,500 Wh/L and improved charging times over state of the art. Our approach is based on a technology platform that integrates novel anode/cathode materials, advanced 3D ionically/electronically conductive scaffolds enabling higher active material loadings, next-generation electrolyte/interphase technologies, improved manufacturing methods, and enhanced analytics.
