Regenerate is driving battery innovation through circular chemistry. We recycle waste batteries and manufacture next-generation products for energy storage.

Our goal is to revolutionise recycling by bridging linear and wasteful processes, creating a web of interconnected industries where one stream’s waste becomes another stream’s in-feed. This vision drives us to develop circular, pollution-free, and zero-waste products for energy storage.

Our advanced recovery processes reduce environmental footprints and use waste as feedstock. We believe that by reducing waste we can provide a cure for the modern-day symptoms of pollution: climate change, poor air quality, loss of biodiversity, and more. To that end, we have developed in partnership with the University of Cambridge an upcycling technology for waste lead-acid batteries. With this technology, we reduce the carbon footprint by 85%, cut waste by more than 90%, save energy and produce an upcycled, high-energy density oxide for the battery industry.

Our philosophy is simple. We seek to develop processes which reduce waste and emissions, while delivering cost-competitive products and significant technological advancement over the prior art. If it isn’t greener, economically better and technologically superior (i.e. upcycled) then we aren’t interested.
